In the previous episode, Surajpratap saw Paridi during a road show and learnt that Paridi had continued with her job as a radio jockey post marriage.

Surajpratap arrives home along with Paridi. He tells the family that he did not approve of his daughters-in-law stepping out of the house to work. He asserts that the family must accept his decision as only he had the right to take decisions in their house.

A furious Surajpratap warns Paridi not to leave the house in the future. Paridi feels hurt and leaves.

Pratik supports Paridi and tries to convince Surajpratap to change his decision and allow Paridi to work as a radio jockey. Surajpratap further gets furious when Pratik tries to make him realize his mistakes. Pratik adds that he did not inform Surajpratap about Paridi's profession only because he never had a friendly relationship with him. He also accuses Surajpratap of forcing Yash and Aarti to divorce each other. A furious Surajpratap raises his hand to slap Pratik but Yash stops him.

Gayatri fears that Surajpratap would never forgive her, if he learnt that she had allowed Paridi to resume her job after marriage.

After Surajpratap leaves, Yash tries to pacify Pratik. Yash reminds Pratik that, before his marriage, he had warned him not to lie to Paridi that he would allow her to resume work after their marriage. Aarti overhears their conversation and gets worried as her family had lied to Yash that she was a widow and not a divorcee.

Later, Yash and Aarti feel embarrassed, when Ansh asks Yash to kiss Aarti. However, Yash smartly handles the situation.

Aarti wishes to reveal the truth about her past to Yash. She, however, fears that Yash would divorcee her after learning the truth. 

To teach Aarti a lesson, Yash's aunt, Maya instigates Gayatri against Aarti. She asks Gayatri to take severe action against Aarti. Gayatri is about to confront Aarti when Maya stops her and tells her to expose Aarti in front of Yash. Maya wants to create problems of Aarti because she had insulted her when she had tried to wipe off the sindoor from Aarti's forehead. Maya is determined to separate Aarti from Yash.
