Bollywood 2016 Proves To Bag The Tagline For REAL CINEMA!

Well, fact are strange than fictions! And that is why films on the personalities of real life people are exciting and generate a wonderful deal of curiosity among viewers. This quarterly year has already seen some great films on real personalities and yet shall continue for the rest quarter!

Airlift starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur bagged great appreciation for the real based story and its execution. The story revolved around an Indian business settled in Kuwait arranged for the biggest civil evacuation for Indians with the help of the Indian government and rescued a record no. of Indians during the Iraq-Kuwait war.

Fashion icon Sonam Kapoor played Neerja’s story covering courage and influencing inspiration for many out there! She played Neerja Bhanot, a flight attendant who risked her own life to save passengers when the plane was hijacked by terrorist in Karachi.

A film on homosexual professor Dr. Srinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was sacked from his job because of his sexual orientation. Aligarh featured Manoj Bajpayee, Raj Kumar Rao in the lead roles.


Sarbjit is narrated through the perspective of Sarabjit Singh’s sister Dalbir Kaur played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Randeep Hooda takes the role of Sarbjit Singh and Richa Chadda will be seen essaying the role of his wife. The film is directed by Omung Kumar and is slated to release on May 20, 2016.

And this Emraan Hashmi is all set to put on his cricketing gear to play ex-Indian captain Mohammed Azharuddin in Tony D’Souza’s film Azhar. The story shall cover a shocking divorce, a clandestine affair with a sportwoman, death of a son and accusations of match fixing. The film also features Nargis Fakhri and Prachi Desai. The film is slated to release on May 13, 2016. 

M.S Dhoni-The Untold Story

Sushant Singh Rajput is all set to play the famous cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni while Kiara Advani plays his wife Sakshi Dhoni. The film is slated to release on September 2, 2016.


Dangal stars Aamir Khan portraying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughter Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. And TV actress Sakshi Tanwar plays his wife in the film. The film is slated to release on December 23, 2016.


Lootera actress Sonakshi Sinha will be seen playing the role of Haseena Parker, gangster Dawood Ibrahim’s sister who is said to have a complex personality.
